French President to announce second nuclear plant

The French President Nicolas Sarkozy will be announcing about the second nuclear power in France. The president will make the announcement after visiting the Creusot site, owned by the steel giant Arcelor Mittal, located in eastern France.

The nuclear plant will be second of its kind called the European Pressurised Reactor (EPR) and the nuclear reactor will be third generation of nuclear reactor that will get operational by 2017.
