Israel Prime Minister to step down

The Israel Prime minister Ehud Olmert announced on Wednesday that he would step down in September. The opposition leaders are in favor of new elections and they are calling for a new Prime Minister.

The Kadima party leader has announced to have an unprecedented primary on September 17 and the prime minister said that he has no deal with the party. Right-wing opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu held the government for the recent failures and called for new elections.
