The G-8 meets will start today in Japan, where the Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda will show a centre where reusable energy is produced and a conservation program is carried out that helps the country to fight the current soar in oil prices in the world market.

Japan has been working since 1973 on oil conservation programs and to not to rely on non-conservative resources like cars with solar powered batteries. India and China is not a member of G-8 nations but the countries have been invited as guests and other countries participating in the meeting will be U.S., Japan, Germany, Britain, France, Italy, Canada and Russia.
