Land reforms in Cuba to increase food production
The Cuban government is planning to initiate a land reform to increase food production. The country is also planning to provide oil industry jobs to its citizens to increase the income of people. The government is planning to give farmer legal rights to the land they farm and to give a market price to the food products they produce.
The country currently has a low food production though the land is very fertile in Cuba .Many farmer still use Donkey and Oxen for farming. The country imports 70% of the food that includes a record $437-million of imports from US.
