Meat which is used in the making of Marketside Grab and the Go deli sandwiches have been recalled as the meat is suspected to be contaminated with a bacterium called the Listeria monocytogenes. These bacteria cause a deadly disease called listeriosis.

The U.S. department of Agriculture’s food safety and inspection Service recalled 380,000 pounds of meat products from the stores of Wal-Mart. USDA issued tips to people to prevent listeriosis infections.
