Meteorologists’ suspect flooding from winter storms

Monday winter storms poured half a foot snow on the city Fargo and the Red river started retreating from the sandbag leaves. The engineers are suspicious that the powerful winds strokes may damage the river leaves. Helicopter crews had been dropping sandbags to fortify river leaves.

Meteorologists are predicting a dangerous situation in Fargo and southern part of the state got a snowfall of almost 14 inches. The city officials are waiting for a fall in river levels to 37 feet or lower and they are expecting that by Saturday, the river levels will be down.
