Opposition in Zimbabwe denounce election results

The Friday results declared by the election commission were denounced by the Zimbabwe opposition that did not agree to the results that showed 47.9 percent for Morgan Tsvangirai and 43.2 percent for Mugabe.
The opposition argued that the opposition leaders got 50.3 percent of the vote and Morgan Tsvangirai is the winner of the elections that were held in the last month in the country. Opposition party, MDC opposed the proposed run-off for the presidential office declared by the country’s election commission. Opposition said that it will not participate in the run-off and the chief election commission said that in that case Mr. Mugabe will be retained as the president.
