Scientists find Martian soil can support life

Phoenix Mars Lander mission found that Mars soil is alkaline and its pH level is 8 or 9.The soil can support life. The scientists are trying to find if life existed on Mars. The scientists said that they found the nutrient present in the soil to support life.

The scientists’ said that the soil was similar to the soil we find in our house – backyards and that is very exciting about the planet’s soil. The Ph level was found about 1 inch below the surface level of the planet.
