Sri Lankan cricketers get wounded by armed attackers in Pakistan

In Pakistan, five policemen who were providing security to the players of Sri Lankan cricket team got killed in attacks carried out by 12 gunmen who fired from AK 47 and hurled up grenades towards the team bus that was driving towards Gaddafi stadium for the test series where the Sri Lankan team had to play against Pakistani team.
Sri Lankan cricketers Tharanga Paranavitana, Kumar Sangakkara and Thilan Samaraweera (hit on thigh) have been injured. One of the spokesman said the act was aimed to embarrass Pakistan government.
