Sri Lankan maid hammered by 23 nails in Saudi Arabia

A Sri Lankan maid is undergoing an operation as she was hammered by 23 nails by her employer .The woman named was held by her employer’s wife and the employer hammered heated nails into her arms, legs and forehead.

The head of Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment said it was a cruel treatment and the government will meet the Saudi diplomats over the issue. The woman who is mother of three said she was overworked there.
