Turkey attacks PKK

Turkish forces attacked the PKK militant in between the calls by US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice for peaceful solution for the situations in Iraq and Turkey.

Turkey has sent its troops to the mountains of Turkey close to the Northern Iraq to fight against the Kurdistan Workers Party militants who had been asking for a cease fire before the attack.

The ground attacks and Air attacks are being carried out by Turkey on the locations of the militant group PKK. Turkey is also expecting a peaceful solution to the problem before making major attacks on the militant group in Northern Iraq.
