U.S. Vice president consults NATO officials

To battle Taliban, American Vice President Joe Biden is discussing plans with top NATO officials and European Union officials. Biden had to address NATO’s decision making officials and meet NATO’s secretary general Jaap de Hoop Scheffer.

The trip is planned almost a week after Clinton’s visit to the region and the main issue of the meeting will be to solve the concern over Afghanistan war and Pakistan’s role in solving Taliban’s influence in the region.
